Kathleen Hubbard1 StarOn 5/16/2024 a tornado hit my home and did severe damage to it. For several days, I was in somewhat of a state of shock and had no idea how to begin to put my house and belongings back together so I let someone influence me into signing a contract with FRSTeam to “clean” my textiles. BIG MISTAKE because in the fine print of the contract they did not specify exactly HOW they were going to "clean" my textiles. So FRSTeam took most of my clothing and all my other textiles. When I got them back, some of my casual tops had shrunk because after washing, they were put into a dryer, something I never do because dryers CAN shrink clothing, and they’re harsh on the fabric. I called FRSTeam and was told they would “settle up” with me after all my items had been returned.
In addition to some of my clothing shrinking, the backing on several textile placemats had shrunk. I have no idea HOW the placemats were cleaned, but I spoke with another FRSTeam employee who told me they would look at them. After getting no response, I e-mailed this employee on July 15 but NEVER received a reply from him so on August 1, I called the FRSTeam textiles manager with whom I had spoken to before about the problem with my clothing. He assured me he would investigate the matter for me and call me back on Monday, August 4. As of today (August 7), I have not heard from him.
So, the moral of my story is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Their customer service is horrible. You cannot trust them to keep their word. Another poster mentioned FRSTeam and how they just want to collect insurance money. I concur—LOTS of it which came out of my Personal Property allowance. Also, I just noticed that they’re not BBB accredited. I wish I had checked this on 5/18/2024 when I signed their contract!Thursday 7th August 2025
Rolanda Allen1 StarListen Please!!! Stay away from this company. I have never ever had to deal with a company like this! This is the worst company ever! Please don’t do business with them. Took my clothing to clean. Came back smelling awful, some items shrunk , belt was lost from a shirt. Reached out to them several times for a refund. Instead they want to tell me after a month the only thing they can do is clean them again. I stated to them no. Because I don’t trust you. And I have a right to feel the way I do. After your late response. Now they are just totally ignoring me. They deserve a 0 star.Monday 21st July 2025
1975javym1 StarPlease stay away from this company. They don’t respond at all unless you get corporate involved. When they first arrived to pickup the items they were dragging the clothes in a plastic bag through the sidewalk damaging the bag and clothes, and not caring about our personal belongings. They don’t clean your personal items properly and they put it back on the same damaged box. The electronics that I requested to be cleaned out they were returned without being cleaned. They will probably response to this review acting like they tried to solve the problem but that’s after the fact that I called corporate office, they had all the opportunities to do it right since day 1 and they fail.Sunday 30th April 2023
tuan hoang1 StarThis company is terrible, stay away from doing business with them. All they want is make up all kind of things so they can bill your insurance. If, however that you do business with them, be aware, do not let them remove anything they want ( for restoration as they would tell you) , because in my case after they did with my properties, they did not contact me back at all, I had to contact my insurance to contact them ( after about 8 months) to call them and found out what happened to my stuffs and what were their estimates of the cost, found out it was an excessive ridiculous amount but my insurance told me that they had no choice but to pay it, I contacted Firstteam and they told me most of our cloths, drapes and curtains were still in the storage and had not been dry clean yet, so we asked them ( with the list) if some of those items we don’t want them back so they don’t need to do the dry clean, and their answer were they will deduct the dry clean cost of those items and reimburse us the monies for those (around $3000) after they received the insurance’s check, but they DID NOT, we tried to call them many times to no prevail. They don’t answer our calls after they got the insurance check. CROOKS.Thursday 22nd June 2023
Javier Perez5 StarOur Laundry room encountered a fire and after the demo and cleaning crew came in to get rid of the smoke damage First Team came in to gather our textiles including all of our houses rugs, pillows, blankets and anything that was in our laundry room. They properly tagged everything and reported everything to the insurance company. They also removed our washer and dryer and inspected and cleaned the units to ensure there was no smoke damage. Once the laundry room was completed they came in and placed the units back into the room and returned all items that were removed. They were courteous and professional every step of the way. I thank Seth for the textile handling and Liam for ensuring the team was on the ball and for his quality of work. I would reuse them if I had to.Tuesday 21st December 2021
